'
Lodi , CA95241
Re: Addendum to ISC Winery Report
nDl`1r:EMAl1 i:htTr
Dear Mr. Thorpe: 'PA471SCrF, -rte
Attached are three copies of the Addendum to the ISC Winery
report.
We find that all contaminated soil has been removed from the
excavation and is still stored on-site, waiting for remedi-
ation.
We also find that ;he groundwater has not been impacted and
that no further efforts regarding danger to groundwater are
required.
As you are aware, a final soil remediation plan is still re-
quired.
- We recommend that the excavation be filled as soon as is
feasible to protect unauthorized persons that enter the site
from possible harm; and to protect the groundwater from
casual spills etc. that might occur during soil remediation.
The three monitoring wells will eventually need to be plugged
with cement. Hunter do Associates do not feel that they are
of further use or that you should be required to do further
testing on these wells. However, that is a decision that will
have to be made by the Department of Health Services.
Sincerely,
William J. Hunter & Associates
By:
Dennis R.
