FINDINGS
I. Ground water elevation, flow direction, and gradient were determined from field data collected on
03 January 2001, the contaminant impact to ground water was assessed from the laboratory
analytical data
i
3 1 GROUND WATER GRADIENT AND FLOW DIRECTION
At the time of the January 2001 sampling event, depths to ground water ranged from 30 95 feet to
32 03 feet below the tops of the well casings Relative ground water elevations at the site ranged
from 10 22 feet above mean sea level (MSL) in well MW4 to 10 41 feet above MSL in well MW2
(Table 1) During this monitoring event, the ground water levels in the wells were approximately
0 95 to 6 87 feet below the tops of the well screens, indicating that the wells are screened properly
and yield representative shallow ground water samples The relative ground water elevation at the
site decreased an average of 0 85 feet between the October 2000 and January 2001 monitoring
events
Ground water is flowing toward the southwest under an average gradient of 0 003 feet/feet Figure
I3 illustrates the contoured ground water elevations as measured on 03 January 2001
Advanced GeoEnviranmentaE,inc
