PROCEDURES <br /> ROLE URES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) for the investigation of <br /> I underground storage tank (UST) sites Monitoring wells MW-7 and MW-8 are sampled annually <br /> during the fourth quarter at the request of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) <br /> I ! <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> Ground water monitoring wells (MW-10 and MW-11) were installed on 05 and 06 April 2005, <br /> developed on 08 April 2005 and surveyed on 09 June 2005 <br /> l <br /> 2 1 1 Well Drilling <br /> Two pilot borings were advanced on 05 and 06 April 2005 The two pilot borings were advanced <br /> using a CME-75HT drill rig,equipped with 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers The drill rig and <br /> Ithree-man crew were supplied by Cascade Drilling, Inc Auger returns generated by drilling were <br /> containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT) approved 55-gallon drums <br /> Iand stored on-site Soil samples were not collected in either of the pilot borings <br /> I2 12 Well Completions <br /> Pilot borings MW-10 and MW-l I were completed as ground water monitoring wells using two-inch <br /> I diameter PVC casing with 0 020-inch slotted screen installed from approximately 120 feet to 130 <br /> feet below surface grade (bsg) with blank casing extended to the surface The filter pack (No 3 <br /> .
