Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 <br /> PLAZA LIQUORS II <br /> 2420 West Turner Road, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Robert McCarty,Advanced GeoEnvlronmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2420 West Turner Road, Lodi, California The scope of <br /> work included performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this <br /> report The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 On-site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized <br /> in Appendix A <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the Investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> sites <br /> Monitoring wells MW-7 and MW-8 were not sampled this quarter, at the request of the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD), these wells are to be sampled annually, during <br /> the fourth quarter <br /> I21 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br /> On 26 July 2004,the depth to ground water in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 was measured <br /> from the top of each well casing to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground <br /> water elevation in each well was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from <br /> Ithe surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, dedicated disposable plastic bailers were used to purge <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-6 of standing water Approximately 3 75 to 6 gallons of water (a <br /> minimum of three casing-water volumes per well)were removed from wells MW-1 through MW-5 <br /> Well MW-6 was purged near-dry after approximately 2 gallons were removed Ground water <br /> temperature, pH, and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an <br /> Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored <br /> on-site in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved model 17H 55-gallon <br /> drums <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
