Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 PLAZA LIQUORS II 2420 West Turner Road, Lodi, California ' 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr Robert McCarty,Advanced GeoEnvlronmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 2420 West Turner Road, Lodi, California The scope of work included performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 On-site structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background information is summarized in Appendix A 2.0 PROCEDURES Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the Investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites Monitoring wells MW-7 and MW-8 were not sampled this quarter, at the request of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD), these wells are to be sampled annually, during the fourth quarter I21 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING On 26 July 2004,the depth to ground water in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 was measured from the top of each well casing to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevation in each well was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from Ithe surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) After recording water level measurements, dedicated disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells MW-1 through MW-6 of standing water Approximately 3 75 to 6 gallons of water (a minimum of three casing-water volumes per well)were removed from wells MW-1 through MW-5 Well MW-6 was purged near-dry after approximately 2 gallons were removed Ground water temperature, pH, and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
