. QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING REVIEW
QUARTERLY GTS MONITORING AND SAMPLING REVIEW
4614 W TURNER RD. , LODI
PAGE 3
MW 3 early in the monitoring program consistently showed low
levels of contaminants , with a downward trend. In the three
quarterly samplings previous to this report , MW 3 has shown only
trace amounts or , more often, non detectible levels of
contaminants The current results of non-detect suggest that the
plume is retreating The current results also suggest that the
rasing water table over the last years has not picked up
contaminants an the soil . Therefore, the retreat of the plume as
not likely to reverse itself
MW-1 (currently the extraction well providing the influent to the
GTS) is closest to the site of the former underground tank, and
has up to this time consistently shown the highest levels of
contaminants This well has also shown a continuing downward
trend an contaminants , especially since the installation of the
GTS. The current non-detectable level of all contaminants as a
very good sign Last quarter showed 100 ug/ml TPHg, so we will
need further quarterly testing to determine of the non-detect
level as a temporary or long term condition.
. Effluent from the GTS continues to show no traces of
contaminants
The next quarterly sampling will occur an February, 1994 . At
that time, an abbreviated round of sampling will be done to
include MW3 , GTS influent and effluent .
I can be reached at ( 209) 339-1311 with any questions or comments
you may have related to this project .
Yours truly,
SEP4STIANI VINEYARDS
WSt Manaldi
Attachments
cc: California Regional Water Quality Control Board
