Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartne [EH]
Sent: Monday, Noven iber 22, 2010 10:43 AM
To: 'acolavita@adv, eoenv.com'
Subject: Permits for Con ifort Air and 444 Mossdale
Attachments: Well Destructio I Permit for 444 Mossdale.pdf, Permit for 1 deep well at 1607 Turnpike.pdf
Good morning, Ally.
A copy of permit 0061495 and 01161497 are appended for your review. Permit 0061495 was issued today for
the destruction of eleven wells a 444 Mossdale Road in Lathrop, CA. I understand the fieldwork will take place
on November 29 and 30, 2010.
Permit 0061497 was issued tod y for the installation of one deep well (MW-14)screened between 80 and 100
feet below surface grade (bsg). I reviewed an email correspondence dated August 21, 2008,from you. In the
email you stated that if groundw ater was found to be contaminated in the deeper CPT2 grab groundwater
samples, then a deeper well in t e former LIST area was warranted. The grab groundwater analytical results from
the CPT2 investigation were no -detect except for the presence of 1,2-DCA at 28 ug/L for a grab groundwater
collected at 57-60 feet bsg. If yi iu feel the deep well should be screened deeper than 80-100 feet bsg, let me
know so that we can discuss thi matter. I understand the fieldwork will take place on December 1, 2010, so
please let me know if you disag ee with the deep well being screened between 80- 100 feet bsg.
Thank you,Ally.
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
Phone: (209)468-9852
Fax: (209)468-3411
Email: vmccartnevna sicehd com
11/22/2010
