In January 1989, <br /> soil and groundwater coi tamination was detected during a tank pull. To date, 15 monitoring <br /> wells have been installe and are monitored regularly. A Site map showing the location of the <br /> current USTs, monitorinj wells and groundwater level contours is provided at the end of this <br /> summary. <br /> Remediation Summary <br /> • Free Product: No free product was documented throughout the life of this case. <br /> • Soil Excavation: An unknown volume of impacted soil was removed and disposed <br /> offsite in 1989. <br /> • In-Situ Soil RemE diation: No soil remediation has been conducted. <br /> • Groundwater Rer iediation: No groundwater remediation has been conducted. <br /> General Site Condition <br /> • Geology and Hy ogeology: The Site is underlain by interbedded and intermixed sand <br /> and silt. The hyd ulic conductivity has been calculated to be 0.0038 cm/sec: The depth <br /> to groundwater v iries seasonally between 17 and 23 feet bgs and the groundwater <br /> gradient is south ast at approximately 0.007. <br /> • Groundwater Tre ds: There are more than ten years of groundwater monitoring data for <br /> this Site.
