(AGE) on your behalf for the above-referenced site. The
EHD also reviewed hi orical analytical data from soil and groundwater samples collected both
at your site and the adj tcent site located at 1601 Turnpike, and it is the opinion of the EHD that
additional site investig tion is needed on your property.
AGE has stated in the iarrative for Quarterly Report— Third Quarter 2007, dated October 31,
2007, that "Total pett Aeum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g)-impacted shallow and deep
groundwater at the fbi ner underground storage tank (UST) location appears to be defined in
every direction excep towards the north, directly beyond well MW-3. TPH-g-impacted
shallow and deep gro ndwater at the eastern portion of the site, immediately south of the
adjacent Lopez Prope y TPH-g-impacted groundwater plume, is undefined towards the south
and east." AGE has I arther stated that "The dissolved benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and
total xylenes (BTEX) A defined vertically at the former UST area."
The EHD concurs wit AGE that the groundwater plume containing contaminants of concern
(COC) has not been d fined along the eastern boundaries of your site, south and southeast of
the former UST site located on the adjacent property at 1601 Turnpike Road. Further
investigation is neede to delineate the extent of contamination in soil and groundwater to
determine if a comingl d plume exists between your site and the 1601 Turnpike Road site.
