The lateral and ve tical extent of soil and groundwater contamination remains undefined. One twin CPT <br /> boring needs to bt completed in the source area/former UST location;one boring for lithology <br /> characterization at d one boring for soil and groundwater sample collection. <br /> 2. Due to a rise in gr undwater at this site,3 MWs need to be destroyed. Replacement wells need to be <br /> installed in discret water bearing zones;shallow and deep. <br /> 3. Additional groun ter characterization is required downgradient of MW-5; 1,2-DCA is undefined <br /> laterally and vertic dly at this downgradient data point. <br /> 4. Soil and groundwt ter samples shall be analyzed by EPA methods 8015m and 8260b. <br /> 5. One 4-inch diame er groundwater extraction well and 2 temporary observation wells will be installed. <br /> 6. An aquifer test wfl be conducted and feasibility testing completed. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDI DNS. <br /> 1. EHD directs you completed and submit a well receptor survey within a 2000-foot radius from the <br /> release/source art a. <br /> 2. A report of findin must be completed and submitted to EHD and CVRWQCB by August 5,2002. <br /> 3. If contamination r mains undefined with this upcoming phase of investigation,an Addendum to the Work <br /> Plan must be subn 'tted by August 16,2002. <br /> 4. Submit well install n permits and fees for E14D permits prior to implementation of this work. <br /> 5.
