On January 30, 1989, one 550 gallon underground storage <br /> tank was removed under San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health ivision's (PHS/EHD) inspection. During the tank removal, <br /> soil was excavated and stockpiled on site. <br /> On February 25, 1992, three monitoring wells were constructed around the <br /> excavation. PHS/EHD staff observed during the monitoring well construction that <br /> the soil generated was grossly contaminated. On April 7, 1992, all soil on site <br /> which had been stock iled was backfilled into the excavation. <br /> RESNA is preparing a eport of the site work which will include water sample <br /> results and soil sampl results from the monitoring well construction for <br /> submission to PHS/E D. After review of this report, PHS/EHD will schedule a <br /> meeting to discuss sitD conditions including the filling of the excavation with <br /> contaminated soil. <br /> Please be advised tha pursuant to Section 2652(d) of the Underground Storage <br /> Tank Regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Chapter 16) a quarterly <br /> monitoring report shall be submitted to Public Health Services, Environmental <br /> Health Division and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) until the investigation and cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. <br /> The report is to show the: <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services �� <br />
