(AGE), in Corrective Action Plan (CAP) dated 25 June <br /> 2012. The EHD ali o conducted a thirty-day public participation period notifying those <br /> interested of the per ing implementation of high vacuum dual-phase extraction (DPE) to <br /> remediate petroleum ydrocarbon contamination that resulted from an unauthorized release <br /> from a former underg ound storage tank located at this site. Having received no comments <br /> from the public betwe in 30 August 2012 and 30 September 2012, the EHD directs that you <br /> proceed with installing the DPE system and have the system in operation by 10 January 2013. <br /> The EHD has also r viewed the analytical results from the 19 March and 28 June 2012 <br /> sampling events and pproves the following sampling schedule effective immediately: <br /> • Semi-annua ly collect groundwater from MW-3, MW-5, MW-6, MW-813, MWA 1B, <br /> MW-14, EX 1 and EX-2 and analyze the samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX); <br /> tertiary-amy methyl ether (TAME), and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA). <br /> • Annually cc lect groundwater from MW-7, MW-8A, and MW-913 and analyze the <br /> samples for ,2-DCA only. <br /> • Suspend c Ilecting groundwater from MW-9A, MW-10A, MW-10B, MW-11A, <br /> MW-12A, M -1213 and MW-13. <br /> If you have any quesl ons or concerns, please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-9852 or <br /> by e-mail at vmccartn y@sjcehd.com. <br />
