r28 October 2005
AGE-NC Project No 95-0141
1,2-DCA levels detected in MW-5 may be due in part to commingling with contamination
iat 1601 Turnpike Rd
• EDB was detected in ground water sample EX-1 at a concentration of 92 µg11 EDB has been
detected intermittently in well EX-1, located near the former UST location This quarter's
concentrations are significantly lower than the past three monitoring events, which showed
concentrations ranging from 230-300 ug/l
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the results of this and previous investigations, AGE recommends
• Continued quarterly monitoring of the ground water monitoring network
• Preparation of a work plan for interim remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted
ground water at the site and vertical definition of the dissolved hydrocarbons and additives
in the source area as previously proposed The western area, under the main office building,
appears to cover the highest dissolved mass at the site, therefore limited access technology
may be required to assess hydrocarbon-impact in this area
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the hydrogeologic
conditions at the site have been made from a limited number of available data points(i a monitoring
wells and ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points
No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions and
recommendations contained in this report
Advanced GeoEnvironmcntal,Inc
