INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Greg Gaut, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> rquarterly report of environmental activities conducted at Comfort Air, Inc , 1607 Turnpike Road, <br /> Stockton,California(site) The scope of work included installation,development and survey of one <br /> r monitoring well,performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this <br /> report The objective of the work was to monitor and define the vertical extent of dissolved <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon and fuel additive concentrations and to characterize ground water flow <br />' direction and gradient on the site The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan of the site <br /> is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> r This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites A <br /> summary of previous environmental assessment activities are included in Appendix A Historical <br /> rground water monitoring results are summarized on Tables 1 through 3 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Ground water monitoring well (MW-13)was installed on 15 December 2004 and developed on 23 <br /> r December 2004 The scope of work was outlined in the AGE-prepared Monitoring Well Installation <br /> Work Plan Addendum, dated 31 August 2004 Field work was performed in accordance with <br /> guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the <br />' investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> r21 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND SURVEY <br /> r On 15 December 2004, one soil boring was advanced at the site for the collection of soil samples <br /> and the installation of a groundwater monitoring well(MW-13) The monitoring well was developed <br /> on 23 December 2004, sampled on 29 December 2004, and surveyed on 10 March 2005 <br /> r <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br /> rA CME-75HT truck mounted drill rig was utilized to advance S 25-inch diameter hollow-stem <br /> augers to 117 feet below surface grade (bsg), the total depth of the boring The drill rig and three- <br /> man crew were supplied by Cascade Drilling of Rancho Cordova, California Auger returns <br /> . generated by drilling were containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation(DOT)- <br /> approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal <br /> rAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> r <br />
