PROCEDURES
On 20 September 2001,purge water generated during previous monitoring events was disposed from
' the site by American Valley Waste Oil, Inc Ground water monitoring and sampling was performed
at the site on wells MW-1 through MW-8 on 12 November 2001
I Field activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for investigation of underground
storage tank(UST) sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells issued by the Regional Water
Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County Public
IHealth Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD), respectively
' 21 PURGE WATER DISPOSAL
On 20 September 2001, approximately 412 5 gallons of non-hazardous purge water was pumped
' from on-site 55-gallon drums The purge water had been generated during previous ground water
monitoring events Pumping and disposal was completed by American Valley Waste Oil, Inc of
Delhi, California The purge water was disposed at Riverbank Oil Transfer located in Riverbank,
California A copy of the waste disposal manifest is included in Appendix A
2 2 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES
Ground water sampling of the on-site wells was conducted on 12 November 2001 For the sampling
Ievent, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the eight
. monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient
were determined from these data (Table 1)
I
Advanced GeoEnvwonmentai,Inc
