INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Greg Gaut, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for Comfort Air,Inc , 1607 Turnpike Road,Stockton, California(site) The location <br /> of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, a plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 <br />' The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report is prepared <br /> in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites A summary of <br /> previous investigations at the site was included in the AGE-prepared Quarterly Report -February <br /> 1997, dated 18 April 1997, and Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan -July 1995, dated 23 July <br /> 1998 <br /> I2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> I On 09 May 2001, purge water generated during the previous monitoring events was disposed from <br /> the site by American Valley Waste Oil,Inc Ground water monitoring and sampling was performed <br /> at the site on wells MW-1 through MW-8 on 15 and 16 May 2001 <br /> IField activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for investigation of underground <br /> storage tank (UST) sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells established by the Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) <br /> 21 PURGE WATER DISPOSAL <br /> I On 09 May 2001,approximately 275 gallons ofnon-hazardous purge water was pumped from on-site <br /> 55-gallon drums The purge water was generated during previous ground water monitoring events <br /> Pumping and disposal was completed by American Valley Waste Oil,Inc of Delhi, California The <br /> I purge water was disposed at Seaport Environmental located in Redwood City, California A copy <br /> of the waste disposal manifest is included in Appendix A <br />' 2 2 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> IGroundwater sampling of the on-site wells was conducted on 15 and 16 May 2001 For the sampling <br /> . event, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the eight <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
