27 July 1998
AGE-NC Protect No 95-0121
' of 0 002 ft/ft, or approximately 13 feet per mile (Figure 3) Due to the low gradient at the
site, slight variations in ground water measurements or changes of recharge/discharge of the
local ground water could greatly modify ground water flow direction
' • The ground water surface elevation at the site continues to remain above the slotted screened
Intervals in wells MW-1 through MW-5 Therefore, the sample collected from well MW-3
may not be representative of concentrations of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon in shallow
' ground water on the site
• From November 1994 to June 1998,no substantial increase and/or decrease of concentrations
' of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon were reported in samples collected from MW-3
• Concentrations of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes detected in MW-3 were above
' the State of Califomia Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCL) for drinking water of 1 ppb,
150 ppb, 700 ppb and 1750 ppb, respectively However, due to a submerged screen interval
in well MW-3, BTE&X concentrations detected from this well may not be representative of
' shallow ground water dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations
• MTBE was not detected at concentrations higher than the laboratory reporting limits in the
ground water sample collected from MW-3
' 50. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
' environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic
' conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of
available data points (I a monitoring wells), and subsurface conditions may vary away from these
data points No other warranty, expressed or Implied, is made as to the professional
recommendations contained in this report
1
I
Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc
I
