There <br /> must be clear segregation between hazardous waste and saleable product. The <br /> accumulation area must be kept well-organized and tidy , with clear access at all times <br /> (cannot be blocked) . <br /> Tote - <br /> The accumulation area includes 1 tote , clearly labeled for the _ <br /> Rx ( Pharmacy) waste classification . r <br /> Documentation " <br /> To assist with the handling and sort ng <br /> g process , several <br /> documents must be clearly posted in the accumulation area <br /> at all times : <br /> • The Hazardous Waste Program Pharmacy Training Guide <br /> • The Rules for Accumulating Hazardous Waste poster (from StrongPak) <br /> • Your store 's California EPA identification number or Nevada Hazardous Materials permit <br /> • The current Weekly Hazardous Waste Storage Area Inspection form (on a clipboard ) <br /> The Hazardous Waste Program — Pharmacy binder ---- <br /> is also kept in the accumulation area for easy <br /> access during inspections and when training is Pharmacy <br /> needed . It includes the following information : <br /> Pharmacy Training Guide ' ° Hazardous <br /> Waste <br /> • 8 '/2' x 11 copy of the accumulation area poster I'rogratn <br /> • Copies of training guide sign -offs EXAMPLE ] <br /> • Completed agency inspection reports <br /> • Hazardous waste pickup manifests <br /> • Pharmaceutical Verification Forms ! <br /> • Completed weekly inspection forms <br /> • Hazardous waste communications from the _ tae sr, rT <br /> Compliance Department <br /> • Blank forms used for the Hazardous Waste Program <br /> Supplies <br /> In addition to the tote and documentation , an ample supply of labels , containment bags , <br /> absorbent, a spill kit and other supplies should be maintained in the accumulation area . <br /> Additional supplies can be ordered from StrongPak as needed ( refer to the supply list <br /> provided by Compliance for ordering information ) . <br /> SAVE MART SUPERMARKETS 3 <br /> INTENDED FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY <br />
