From: Vicki McCartney [EH] fmailto:vmccartney(a)sjcehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, March 24, 2015 4:30 PM
To: msepehr somaenv.com
Subject: 30350 South Tracy Blvd.
Good afternoon Mansour,
As I prepare to move the CEMEX Tracy Facility site to closure, I have encountered a number of concerns that need to be
addressed.
• Monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5, MW-6, MW-7 and MW-8 do not have the survey information uploaded to
GeoTracker. Also, I believe that the top of the casing elevations were reversed for MW-4 and MW-5. Will you
please check this? Based on the information that I have, boring 131-11 became MW-5 and BH2 became MW-4.
• Instead of seven underground storage tanks USTs, there were eight USTs at this site. What I don't know is what
became of the second 6,500 gallon asphalt UST. I believe the tank number is 1798002. 1 have documentation
that asphalt UST No. 1798005 was removed in April 1999.
• Except for the permit to install MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 that was signed off by our department staff, I could
find no additional information about these wells. As I mentioned during our telephone conversation today, I will
not be able to move this site to closure until these matters are resolved.
Please let me know what you find out and thank you.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney(a-)sicehd.com
hH O'
2
