In the C-M, <br /> R-M, M-1 , and M-2 manufacturing zones, no hedge , fence , wall , <br /> or other visual screen, shall be grown or erected to a height <br /> greater than six (6) feet in any required yard, subject to <br /> the following conditions and exceptions: <br /> ( 1 ) Where a rear yard abuts a side yard in an agricultural , <br /> residential or commercial zone , no hedge, fence, wall or <br /> other visual screen shall be grown or erected to a <br /> height greater than four (4) feet in a triangular area <br /> formed by the intersection of the rear property line - <br /> with the street side property line which has a width and <br /> depth equal to the required front yard for the abutting <br /> lot to the rear ; <br /> ( 2 ) Any fencing above four (4) feet in the required front <br /> yard shall be constructed of woven wire, wrought iron or <br /> other similar material ; <br /> ( 3) Barbed wire security fencing not to exceed two ( 2 ) feet <br /> in height may be located on top of said fence or wall ; <br /> (4) The requirements of this Section shall not apply to uses <br /> permitted in any industrial zone which are required to <br /> maintain visual screens to a height greater than spe- <br /> cified in this Title. <br /> SECTION 5 Section 9-4013 is hereby added to Chapter 1 , <br /> Division 4, Title 9 , of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code to read <br /> as follows : <br /> SECTION 9-4013 . FENCE REGULATIONS . <br /> (a) Fences are permitted, but not required, and are subject to <br /> the following height limitations: <br /> ( 1 ) Three ( 3)_ feet above the road crown on corner lots for <br /> the triangular thirty-foot 30 ' area ani <br /> 1pei at the <br /> road intersection; <br /> TA-82-6 (Ordinance) - 3 - (PC : 11-5-87) <br />
