Table 9-505.4, Chapter 9-505, Division 5, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Table 9-505A Temporary Uses & Structures in Industrial Zones <br /> Legend P Permitted Use <br /> PI Permitted Use With Improvement Plan <br /> Note: See attached tables. <br /> SECTION 15. Section 9-505.5, Chapter 9-505, Division 5, of the San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code is hereby amended by amending subsections 9-505.5(e) and 9-505.50 to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-505.5 Special Use Regulations in Truck Terminal Zone. In addition to the provisions <br /> of Section 9-505.2 through 9-505.4, the following regulations shall apply to truck terminals: <br /> (a) For projects which may produce 50 or more vehicle trip ends per peak hour, a traffic <br /> study shall be required as part of the application process to assess the impacts of the <br /> proposed truck terminal on the existing and/or planned street system and on the freeway <br /> system and to determine what road improvements shall be required. For projects which <br /> will produce less than 50 vehicle trip ends per peak hour, the Director of Public Works <br /> may waive the required traffic study. The applicant shall deposit with the County funds <br /> for all costs, as estimated by the Department of Public Works' Public Facility Division, prior <br /> to Public Works preparing or contracting for the required study. <br /> (b) Any entrance or exit to a truck terminal shall have acceleration and deceleration lanes, <br /> the criteria for which are to be determined by the traffic study and recognized engineering <br /> standards, or other traffic control devices determined to be necessary by the Department <br /> of Public Works. No vehicle shall be permitted to back onto a public roadway. <br /> (c) The terminal shall comply with all California Department of Transportation regulations and <br /> standards for roads, freeway entrances, sight distance, and turning radius. <br /> (d) Exit and entrance driveways for tacks shall be a minimum of thirty-five (35) feet wide and <br /> a maximum of forty (40) feet wide. <br /> TA-92-13 -5- ORD NO. <br />
