Section 9-884.2 Improvement Plan Requirements. Improvement plans shall be prepared by a <br /> registered civil engineer, unless waived by the Director. Off-site and on-site improvements <br /> required by the County Development standards and conditions of approval for the application <br /> shall be incorporated into the improvement plans. The plans shall be reviewed and approved by <br /> the Community Development Department prior to the issuance of a building permit. A fee as <br /> specified in Chapter 9-240 shall be required. <br /> SECTION 27. Section 9-905.2, Chapter 9-905, Division 9, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-905.2 Required Mapping. All subdivisions in San Joaquin County shall be filed as <br /> either a final map or parcel map. All Major Subdivisions shall be filed-for recordation as a final <br /> map. All Minor Subdivisions shall be filed as a parcel map or a final map. <br /> SECTION 28. Section 9-905.4, Chapter 9-905, Division 9, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-905.4 Lot Corners. All lot corners shall be marked with iron pipe not less than three- <br /> quarters (3/4) of an inch inside diameter and twenty-four (24) inches long, or marked by other <br /> monuments or reference crosses as approved by the County Surveyor. <br /> SECTION 29. Section 9-905.5, Chapter 9-905, Division 9, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending subsection 9-905.5(a) to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-905.5 Centerline Monuments. Centerline monuments shall be located as set forth in <br /> this section. <br /> (a) Location of Monuments. Road, street, alley, and way centerline monuments shall be set <br /> to mark the intersections of streets, intersections of streets with alleys or ways, <br /> intersections of alleys with alleys or ways, or at the intersection of any street, alley, or way <br /> with a tract boundary. Street centerline monuments shall also be set to mark the <br /> beginning and end of curves or the points of intersection of tangents thereof. Such <br /> centerline monuments shall be not less than a three-quarters (3/4) inch diameter iron pin, <br /> at least thirty (30) inches long, and set in the subgrade. A monument box and cover in <br /> conformance with San Joaquin County Standards shall be set above the monument,with <br /> the top of the box flush with the finished grade. <br /> SECTION 30. Section 9-905.8, Chapter 9-508, Division 9, Tale 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-905.8 Section & Quarter Section Comer Monuments. Whenever a section corner or <br /> quarter-section corner is to be used as a controlling element of a field survey, the engineer or <br /> surveyor responsible for the survey shall construct, reconstruct or rehabilitate the monument of <br /> such comer, and accessories to such corner, so that the same shall be left by him in such <br /> physical condition that it remains as permanent a monument as is reasonably possible and so <br /> that the same may be reasonably expected to be located with facility at all times in the future. <br /> Such monuments shall be not less than a three-quarter (3/4)-inch diameter iron pin, thirty (30) <br /> inches long, or other monuments as approved by the County Surveyor. <br /> SECTION 31. Section 9-910.2, Chapter 9-910, Division 9, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> TA-92-13 -11- ORD NO. <br />
