Approve the Negative Declaration; and <br /> 2. Approve Development Title Text Amendment No. TA-92-13 based on the 'Bases for <br /> Recommendation" contained in the staff report. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The intent of these amendments is as follows: <br /> SECTION 1 This section will clarify the definitions of 'accessory building,' "condominiums," <br /> 'grade,' "hotel' and delete a second definition of 'condominium," which is not <br /> needed. <br /> SECTION 2 This section will remove "Residential Second Unit' from the Use Classification <br /> System because it is an accessory, rather than primary, use; and adds "Second <br /> Unit Dwellings'to the Accessory Uses Table for residential and agricultural zones. <br /> SECTION 3 This section removes Landscape Maintenance Services as a typical use under <br /> Building Maintenance Services and adds it to Landscaping Services in Section <br /> 4. <br /> SECTION 4 This section adds a new subclassification, Landscaping Services, under Nursery <br /> Sales and Services to provide for a greater range of activities. <br /> SECTION 5 This section adds a provision to non-conforming uses to allow buildings that <br /> intrude into a yard setback area to expand following the existing building line. <br /> SECTION 6 This section divides the existing 'Permitted Use With Improvement Plan' into <br /> 'Permitted Use' and "Permitted Use With Improvement Plan' because Improve- <br /> ment Plans are not needed in all cases. <br /> BOS LETTER PAGE 1 <br /> I <br />
