Find enclosed a copy of a composit of 3 maps i obtained from the Planning Department.. I copied the portions con- cerning the proposed zoning changes. I:have several concerns reguarding these charges. -My home is property #11 (3411 Franklin) on this map.. You will find r11 circled in red. The nearest zoning charge to me is the property directly behind me . This is the abandoned Railroad prenerty. The zoning change proposed is to chan;:etthis to Comercial Nei>h- bor^cod (C .:-. ) . As long as this means single famil.1 homey or a store , or some other small comercial b,.:siness, I. have no objections,. Ido have a concern that this C . zone will allow an apartment to be built on this pro_ert�T. I strongly object tc this type useage . My second' cordern is the property on the map listed as pro- perty #8. First, because of the crude map sent with tris proposal, it is not clear if this actually means property #8 (3303 Franklin) or property #9 (7531 Franklin) . This prop- erty has a run down house on it. I would realy be upset if the intent here would be to use this property for more apartments. The apartment at 3303 Franklin _gas been a law enforcement problem for about the last eight years. The problems inc- lude drug dealings and numerous drive by shoctings. For this reason I feel any zoning change that would allow f'-,r- ther development at this location would be inapnroprite.
