V
NI Oo
September 19, 1992
San Joaquin County Planning Commission 51992 J`
1810 East Hazelton Avenue OCT
Stockton, CA 95295
,,UMMUMIT UCVLLvf .it. vcf'i.
Dear Commissioners, PLANNING DIVISION
RE: Application No. GP - 92 - 10 / ZR - 92 - 12
I am the owner of the residential property located at 3139
Del Rio Drive, Stockton, 95204.
My daugter and her family live at this property.
I am strongly against any attempt to rezone this area!
Frankly, the description "Generally on he west side of De
Ovan Avenue between Telegraph Avenue ar Del Rio Avenue, west
of Stockton. , " is a poor description if not misleading! The
description to me says that only the west side of De Ovan Avenue
is involved. Actually, this property is built with low density
townhouse type units. Should a rezoning take place, further
units may be placed on this property, or next to it, thus
significantly increasing the area population and altering the
low density neighborhood.
Perhaps the occupancy on this property is already "medium
density? ! " If so lets leave it alone: "if it ain ' t broke,
don' t fix it. " Another word; why bother with it, the property
is already built upon, and we do not want further units on
it !
The reasoning put forth by the Planning Division is not compelling
enough to me. Wha*is behind this effort?
Thank you fbr not considering this proposal, and your denial
of the request to rezone'
Sincerely,
Csaba Andrew Sarkan
828 Juniper Road
Glenview, I1 . 60025
