Davisson , <br /> I fully support your departments initiative to rezone the <br /> referenced property back to R-4. The R-4 zoning is consistent <br /> with good planning and serves as a buffer between commercial <br /> property and single family residences. When the County rezoned <br /> the property to R-1 they effectively devalued the property by <br /> making the building non-conforming. Because the building was <br /> conforminq when it was built , I believe that a litigation would <br /> favor the present owner . <br /> I plan to buy the property on Franklin if the zoning goes <br /> back to R-4. I plan to make improvements in the property and <br /> perform the routine maintenance that has been evidently absent <br /> in recent years. The property will get a much needed face-lift <br /> inside and out . I will demand more stable community minded <br /> tenants. <br /> If the Franklin property is not rezoned to R-4 the current <br /> problems will increase .
