AT,�209;Z3r <br /> In response to your letter regarding aeration of exempt gasoline J <br /> contaminated soil at the above mentioned address, the San:jJoaquin <br /> Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District has verified that the <br /> soil excavated in October is exempt from the provisions of Rule <br /> 409 .9 (Volatile Organic Compound Emissions from Decontamination of <br /> Soil) , per Section B. 1. No Authority to Construct and/or Permit to <br /> Operate will be required ;for operation. This exemption only applies <br /> to soil excavated in October. <br /> Any newly excavated and untested soil must be treated. as suspect <br /> contaminated soil. Newly excavated soil that is stockpiled must be <br /> covered until verification of exemption from the provisions of Rule <br /> 409 . 9 is 'made.
