S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUNT <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> US INTEC (BMMCA) 3301 N NAVONE RD, STOCKTON December 05, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used absorbent was observed inside the plant without hazardous properties on <br /> the label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used absorbent was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without <br /> hazardous properties on the label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily sludge was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with a damaged <br /> label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily sludge was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an <br /> accumulation start date. This was corrected on site. <br /> -One cardboard box of dried paint liners was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without a hazardous <br /> waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by completely labeling all hazardous <br /> waste containers. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by January 6, 2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
