Environmental <br /> Science & ;i�`j, 'P"`° rI ALHEALTf} <br /> Engineering,Inc N� <br /> �5 A CILCORP Cnm Gd,y <br /> August 17, 1993 <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> P.O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject ADDITIONAL MONITORING RESULTS <br /> AT&T LODI FACILITY <br /> J110 WEST TURNER ROAD <br /> LODI, CALIFORNIA <br /> ESE PROJECT NO. 6-92-5009 <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll <br /> The following report presents the findings of ground water monitoring of two selected wells <br /> at the AT&T Lodi facility (site) located at J110 West Turner Road in Lodi, California The <br />•) objective of this investigation was to verify the ground water quality in these two wells with <br /> respect to petroleum hydrocarbon content The work was performed at the request of the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department. <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Two wells, designated MW-1 and MW-4 are located adjacent to the former underground <br /> diesel fuel tank area and former excavation (Figure 1 - Site Map) An ESE staff member <br /> visited the site on July 2, 1993 and performed the following work <br /> Depth to water was measured in all four ground water monitoring wells at the site with an <br /> electric well sounder Depth to water measurements are presented on Table 1 - Ground <br /> Water Elevations Well MW-1 and MW-4 were purged of four to six well casing volumes <br /> of water using an electric submersible pump Water quality was monitored during purging <br /> as shown on the ground water sampling data forms attached The electric submersible <br /> pump was cleaned between use using an Alconox and tap water solution followed by a tap <br /> water rinse <br /> Ground water samples were collected from wells MW-1 and MW-4 using new (pre-cleaned) <br /> disposable polyethylene bailers lowered with new nylon cord The ground water from each <br /> bailer was decanted from the bailer into the laboratory supplied glassware After collection, <br /> the samples were immediately labeled and placed on ice and under chain of custody <br /> documentation, along with a laboratory supplied trip blank for transport to the laboratory <br /> 4090 Nelson Avenue Suite r Concord,CA 94520 Phone(510)685-4053 Fax(510)685-5323 <br />
