HAZARD EVALUATION <br /> The following substance(s) or hazards are known or suspected to be on site <br /> Substances Involved Concentrations <br /> Gasoline unknown <br /> • <br /> The primary hazards of each are identified as follows <br /> 1 Hydrocarbon fuels - Components of fuels are colorless liquids with strong aromatic <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon-like odors. They are flammable and have low solubility in <br /> water Exposure to these materials in excess of recommended exposure limits can <br /> cause mild eye, nose, and throat irritation and can produce a narcotic effect on the <br /> central nervous system Symptoms of exposure at these concentrations include <br /> headache, nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, and loss of coordination Certain <br /> components of gasoline (BTE&X etc) are known or suspected carcinogens <br /> The following additional hazards are expected on siteical work related to facile Noise <br /> falling rods, fl3gng hammer, snapped cables, etc on the drill rig <br /> sxsan2-94W 92 UA054-02 2 <br />
