As we
discussed in our March 8, 1994 telephone conversation, the discharge of groundwater at the
subject site is associated with the excavation of hydr bon impacted soils. Groundwater will
be pumped from the open excavation via vacuum truck and transported to the Wastewater
Control Facility for discharge under the direction of City personnel. The volume of groundwater
to be discharged is anticipated to be between 20,000 to 60,000 gallons. This amount is
contingent upon the rate of groundwater recharge into the open excavation.
Laboratory results indicate that petroleum hydrocar on constituents in the groundwater to be
discharged fall below the maximum limits established for discharge to the City sewer system.
We are hopeful we can schedule the work to be perfc rmed the week of March 21, 1994. If you
have any questions or require additional information please call me at (209) 838-3507.
Respectfully,
RFSNA ndustries Inc.
1Jn P.
