Meays: <br /> In response to your letter dated November 22 , 1991 , the <br /> following comments are made: <br /> 1 . By copy of this letter, RESN /WaterWork is <br /> instructed to drill an additional downgradient <br /> monitoring well, and to furnish you with a work- <br /> plan for this project by December 9 , 1991 . <br /> i <br /> 2 . The next quarterly monitoring report will include <br /> a plan for proper disposal of purged groundwater. <br /> r <br /> 3 . The location of the wells will be submitted <br /> with the Addendum to the PAR by January 17 , 1992 . <br /> 4 .. Prior to a closure request, confirmation soil sam- <br /> ples shall be performed as requested in the area <br /> specified. <br /> i <br /> 5 . Diesel analysis of MW2 and MW3 will be discontinued } <br /> so long as the groundwater gradient remains south- <br /> easterly. As you requested, diesel analysis of MWl <br /> and MW4, :-when installed, will be made . As to MW1, <br /> it is noted that in five quarterly samples, only one <br /> - (the November 1990 sample) sh wed a detectable <br /> amount of diesel.
