M's . Laurie A. Cutulla
Environmental Health Division
San Joaquin County Page Two
The enclosed title report and grant deed acquired at the
time of acquisition by Mr. McAllister indicates that the property
was acquired by Interlines-Blankenship Motor Express, June 10, 1966 ,
presumably the predecessor of System 99 and an affiliated corpora-
tion. System 99, and presumably its affiliated companies, filed
for Chapter 11 bankruptcy November 5, 1985 . It had previously
ceased operations at the Stockton ter incl in September 1985 .
Subsequently, the case was transferred to Chapter 7 April 20 , 1987 .
Repeated inquiries have been made as to the current whereabouts of
Allan Robison, then President, without success.
The writer has no direct knowledge of the facts prior to
June 10 , 1981; however, it is the writer ' s understanding that
System 99 , and its affiliates, acquired the property and developed
it as a trucking terminal about 1966. It is further understood that
development of the property included installation of the fuel tanks .
It is believed that System 99 was the only operator of the facility
from its development in 1966 until it ceased operations in Septem-
ber of 1985 . The property continued vacant until May 15, 1989
when it was leased to the current tenant, TNT Bestway, Inc. The
tanks were removed from the property arch- 29 , 1989 , prior to
leasing to the current tenant on May 15, 1989 . The current owners
of the property did not operate the fuel tanks at any time.
Very truly yours,
RITAL TRUST U/W/O
DECKER G.
