Box 2009
Stockton, 'California 95201 -
RE: Marital Deduction Trust
601 South Ventura Street
Stockton, California
Site Code: 1275
Dear Ms. Meays;
RESNA IndustrieslWaterWork Corporation has reviewed the Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Division's (PHSIEHD) correspondence dated August 5, 1991 for the
above referenced site.
1. Groundwater will be monitored monthly for the next three months. Groundwater
samples will be collected on a quarter,y basis.
2. The remaining hydrocarbons in soil wi 1 be addressed in a Soil Remediation Plan.
Based on the information gathered during the last four quart_ erly sampling events,
an accurate remediation plan will be repared.
3. Continued sampling, monitoring, and observation of natural biodegradation
process should be no means be considered "no action." RESNA
IndustrieslWaterWork believes that continued sampling and monitoring is the
correct technical response to this situation and that further expenditures of public
and private resources is not warranted. However, if the County maintains that
additional measures (ie. installation of an additional well or wells) is absolutely
necessary, please specify your requirements in writing.
L090691.TLP
