One 5 gallon canister containing acetone waste <br />that had not been distilled was missing a label. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: Per California Health and Safety Code 25143.9, containers holding excluded <br />recyclable materials (ERM) need to be labeled with the words "Excluded Recyclable Material," your business name, <br />address, composition of the ERM, physical state, hazardous properties and the accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the container. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting <br />documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by November 16, 2019. <br />Starting September 1, 2018, all in -office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). To schedule an <br />appointment, please call (209) 468-3420. <br />Waste streams found: Waste paint, waste acetone, used oil, waste water <br />The facility treats waste water generated from rinsing metal parts sprayed with Secure Steam FRP. <br />The facility generated 12.83 tons of hazardous waste in 2018.
