Olds of the LammersViile School District, AcIvanced <br /> GeoEnvironnientai, Inc. (AGE) abandoned ten groundwater monitoring wells at 1.6555 West Vora Sosten <br /> Road in Tracv,-California. <br /> Ten 2-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells were installM as par[of a subsurface investignti+,rr of <br /> the former undergr6und �tcrag e tank (UST) area at the site:iyloritoring wells were installed to dept of <br /> approximately 9 to 19 feet bellow surface grade(bsg). In' accordance with .,an Joaquin County Niblic ilei;1117 <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-041))-guideiines,'all rn nitoring wells at.the site Nvere <br /> abandoned on ?0 June ,]997 io obtain final site closure. <br /> During well abandonment,eight of the wells tvere-filled with a portl;and Type II grout; 40 psi pressure vas' <br /> applied to,each„ve:ll for approximately tNvo to three minutes to ensure grout penetration'into the f lter pack. <br /> Wells MW-2 and MPJ-6,in which detectable concentrations of hydrocarbons were present,were over-drilled <br /> to a depth of 20 feet bsg and back filled with a por-tland Type IT Urout. Following pressure grouting the <br /> abandoned wells'were over-drilled to seal the well casing to a depth.of two to three feet bsg. The well top <br /> were then sealed with neat.cement.
