The re-excavation will be performed,using a backhoe or excavator; samples will <br /> be collected.from each sidewall and, if necessary, the floor of the excavation. A grab water sample <br /> may also.be collected from.the excavation. <br /> 3.2: EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION <br /> All sampling tools and brass sleeves used,for.sample-coli lection will be thoroughly rinsed with clean <br /> water after washing with a solution of Alconox.' <br /> 3.3, LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons-quantified as gasoline(TPHw- <br /> g)and volatile-aromatics(benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene: BTE&X) in accordance with <br /> EPA methods 8015/5030 and 80201602, respectively.
