The monitorinl;s were <br /> conducted In accordance with GTI 's SOP B ( see Appendix 11 ) . All <br /> the well heeels were surveyed on .luno 19. 1987 to deLermirse a <br /> relative local groundwater gradient . <br /> i <br /> GROUNDWATER SAMPLING <br /> The five monitoring wells were developed and sampled on June <br /> "~ 22 , 1987 . They were developed by hand bailing prior to <br /> sampling. All of the samples were obtained with an EPA approved <br /> teflon sampler . The samples were collected., preserved and <br /> transported under Chain-of-Custody in accordance with GTI ' s <br /> SOP' s 9. 10 and 11 (see Appendix II ) . The samples were analy::ed <br /> for TVH and BTEX by Modified EPA Method 602. <br /> SITE CONDITIONS <br /> - HYDROGEOLOGY <br /> The site is located on the western edge: of the Tracy <br /> Groundwater Basin. a politically designated portion of the son <br /> Joaquin Groundwater Basin. The San Joaquin Groundwater Basin is <br /> — -_7 <br /> drained by Cite San Joaquin- R1ver and--its--tributaries-._____Recharge-__T <br /> occurs to the west of the site in the foothills of the 1)3a1)10 <br /> Mountain Ranke and from Infiltration of surface waters . <br /> 9 <br />
