LAMMERSVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT
16555 W. Von Sosten Road
Tracy, California 95376
The following history on project SJCPHS, Site Code 1719,
EPA #CAC 000 152555, was developed in response to the lack of
progress experienced with this project over a five year
period. The document is divided into four parts.
-" I Removal and Cleanup of an Underground Gasoline
Fuel Tank
II Removal of Underground Diesel Fuel Tank
III Quarterly 'Testing of Monitoring Wells at
Lammersville School Site
IV Appendix
At the conclusion of Part I, the district has enumerated
why a meeting of governmental officials, government agencies,
__. testing companies, and the district is needed. A second
section entitled expectancies lists what the district expects
at the end of the meeting.
After reviewing the document, it becomes obvious that
this project has not enjoyed the attention or progress that
one would expect after expending over $64,000 of taxpayers
money. The meeting is not being called to place blame, but
rather to gain a commitment from the principal parties to
—" bring about a speedy conclusion to this project. A good
_., faith effort expended by all parties will ensure that the
communities interest in a contaminated free area will be a
reality at the lowest possible cost to the taxpayer.
