Von Sosten Road <br /> Tracy, California <br />' December 1994 <br />' 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr Kenneth Olds of the Lammersville School District <br /> r (LSD),Geological Audit Services, Inc (GeoAudit) has prepared this Quai tei ly Groundwater <br /> Monitoring Report for the property located at 16555 XV Von Sosten Road in Tracy, <br />' California (the site) Between October and November 1994, a total of ten groundwater <br /> monitoring wells were sampled at the site The location of the site is illustrated in Figure <br /> 1, a plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> 2 0 BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1 Site Description <br /> The site is located at the northwest coiner of the intersection of Von Sosten Road and <br /> Hansen Road in a rural area northwest of Tracy, California The piopeity is approximately <br /> 10 acres in size and is occupied by LammeisvilIe Elementary School A maintenance gataae <br /> and house are located near the northeast corner of the site., t-%No storage tanks were formerly <br /> located in this area The tanks were used to fuel school vehicles The Lammersville <br /> rElementary School yard is located to the west and south of the project area <br />■ 2.2 Underground Storage Tank (UST) RemoNal <br /> LSD operated one 550-gallon regular gasoline underground storage tank (UST) and one <br /> 2,000-gallon diesel UST at the site The gasoline tank %Nas aemoved from the site in <br /> December 1986, the diesel tank was removed in March 1959 Samples collected from <br /> beneath the gasoline tank indicated that an unauthorized release of hydiocai bons may have <br /> occurred However, according to LSD, samples collected from beneath the diesel tank <br /> "showed no contaminants," but the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) required groundwater samples of the area to <br /> determine if an unauthorized release of diesel had occur red <br /> 2.3 Monitoring Well Installation <br /> In 1987, LSD contracted with Gioundwater Technology, Inc (GTI) and initiated an <br /> 0-1.p-1 <br /> Audi S.,,I., <br /> G <br /> S94-011001 02&AASIERS"L E QRU12 W 1 <br />
