i <br /> SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION AND <br /> QUARTERLY STATUS UPDATE REPORT #1 <br /> LAMMERSVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> 16555 WEST VON SOSTEN ROAD <br /> TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> March 3, 1992 <br /> 1 0 INTRODUCTION <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc presents this report as a summary of work performed pursuant to the <br /> November 15, 1991 agreement with the Lammersville School District (District) Groundwater <br /> Technology has provided consulting services at the District Maintenance Yard at 16555 West Von <br /> Sosten Road in Tracy, California (Figures 1 and 2) Work performed included installation of two <br /> groundwater monitoring wells, (MW-9 and MW-10), monitoring, development, sampling and surveying <br /> of the new and existing groundwater monitoring wells, and preparation of this summary report Data <br /> obtained by a prior consultant to the client during 1991 have also been summarized <br /> 2 0 BACKGROUND <br /> A comprehensive project chronology for this site has been compiled by the District in a document <br /> titled, Pro ect History on Contaminated Soil & Water Clean Up at Lammersville School, dated <br /> September 1991 The current scope of work presented in this report was based upon a synthesis of <br /> opinions expressed in an October 9, 1991 meeting between the District, the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Department-Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD), and the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (CRWQCB) As previously requested by Ms Margaret Lagorio of the SJCEHD, site <br /> monitoring data collected by McCain Environmental Services from May and August 1991 have also <br /> been included in this report <br /> 3 0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION <br /> Well installations were conducted following a request by the District to continue subsurface <br /> investigation of soil and groundwater conditions at the site The investigation included drilling and <br /> 2124GSA1 RPT <br /> GROUNDWATER <br /> v�-1 TECHNOLOGY <br />
