The report summarizes existing water level
and chemistry data. Very little-has changed since we issued the last quarterly monitoring report.
Ground water still appears to be flowing west, and we still have 200 mg/f nitrate (NOO in the up-
gradient well (MW-2).
The Central Valley-Regional Water Quality Control Board (CV-RWQCB) has asked Unocal
Corporation (Unocal) to install a shallow monitoring well on the west side of the Washington
Street facility to determine if ground water with feed product concentrations is moving west from
the site. Sierra-Pacific is waiting to receive written right-of-entry approvals from the Port of
Stockton and Cargill, Inc. before proceeding with the installation.
i
Please call if you have questions or comments.
Sincerely,
SIE -PACIFIC GROUNDWATER CONSULTANTS, INC.
I
JoMrEngineering
en app, CEG-1133-
Sen
EG-1133-
SeGeologist
JSR:gn
Enclosure -
CC.
