I'm attaching a revised pg.4 of the report with the typo corrected.
I've just spoken with Mark Ackerman and his mother, Eleanor Ackerman, regarding the dairy at 5760 Kile. They recall
that the dairy was closed down prior to 2002 because the pond was found to have been improperly lined. They
indicated that no animals are at that property now.
I reviewed some aerial photographs available from Google Earth (attached). It looks like the dairy was in operation in
1993. By 2002, the pond was no longer full, which implies closure or reduced use. The last time I can see animals is in
April 2010. By 2011, a building has been removed, and the entire pond area has been leveled.
Let me know if you need anything else for this project.
Thank you,
Abby
Abby Racco
Live Oak GeoEnvironmental
(209) 369-0375
(209) 365-3222 cell
www.logelodi.com
On 5/19/20 11:34 AM, Gooderham, Aaron wrote:
Hello Abby,
Here is what EHD wants to see on the report before we can accept it and make a determination on
suitability for onsite waste water treatment& nitrate loading.
1. On page 4 of the report, the maximum contamination limit (MCL) for the chemical DBCP
is listed as 10 mg/L-N. In order for EHD to accept this report, the correct MCL should be
displayed.
2. Information regarding the neighboring dairy located at 5748 West Kile Road needs to be
included in the report, this dairy is within 1000 feet of the project area (Development Title
9-1105.2 (d) (4)).
Respectfully,
1
