Chrisman Road
Tracy, San Joaquin County, California
Dear Mr. Pickens,
Per your request, our office conducted a percolation test for the site located at 32851 S.
Chrisman Road, Tracy, San Joaquin County, California, Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 253-
190-10. The site consists of an approximately 1.10-acre tract of land improved with an
approximately 2,992-square foot (SF) single-family residence, septic system, utilities, and
groundwater well. Based on a review of a site plan you provided and telephone conversations,
we understand the site is proposed to be developed with an approximately 1,560 SF residence
and additional septic system on the northern portion of the parcel. We further understand the
new septic system is proposed to be constructed east of the new residence.
The percolation test was performed per the requirements of Section 9-1105 of the San Joaquin
County Development code and San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment System
Standards dated January 2017. The percolation test boring location is shown on the attached
site Exploration Plan (Exhibit A-2). The following is a description of our field activities.
FIELD ACTIVITIES
August 3, 2018, two boring locations were staked and the site boundaries were marked for utility
locator clearances. Per telephone conversations with Mr. Pickens, Terracon placed the borings
approximately 15 feet east of the proposed new residence location which had been delineated
on the ground with stakes.
August 7, 2018, Terracon obtained an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Permit
(SR0079481)from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD).
August 8, 2018, Terracon field staff advanced one shallow boring (B3.5) to 3.5 feet below
ground surface (bgs) and one deep soil profile boring (B10) to 10 feet bgs. Soil borings were
Terracon Consultants, Inc. 902 Industrial Way Lodi, CA 95240
P (209) 367 3701 F (209) 333 8303 terracon.com
