I reviewed the waste oil tank assessment submitted. The following are items that need clarification/correction in the
assessment:
1. Section 6.0. Discrepancies and Non-Compliance Issues states, "The tank was observed without a visual and
audible overfill alarm system." Please have the tank assessor and/or the engineer clarify in the assessment
whether or not a visual and audible overfill alarm system is required or optional. Ensure that once the
assessment is altered, the engineer re-certifies/re-stamps the assessment.
2. Table 2 indicates the tank is "Black in color," however at the time of my inspection the waste oil tank was red in
color. Please see the attached photos of the used oil tank. Please have the tank assessor and/or the engineer
clarify and/or correct this discrepancy in the assessment. Ensure that once the assessment is altered, the
engineer re-certifies/re-stamps the assessment.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Elianna Florido, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
1868 East Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
P: (209)468-0343 1 F: (209)468-3433 1 E: eflorido@sigov.org
Please note that my email has changed to eflorido@sogov.org
SAN JOAQUIN
—COuNrv—
rFkr fp[flCSS fOn'S rirfC,
From: Rene Toth <RToth@advgeoenv.com>
Sent: Friday, May 10, 2019 3:11 PM
To:Anthony T Teresi <atteresi@teresitrucking.com>; Florido, Elianna <eflorido@sigov.org>
Cc: Robert Marty<rmarty@advgeoenv.com>
Subject: Waste Oil Tank Integrity Assessment
Todd/ Elianna,
Attached is the final Aboveground Storage Tank Integrity Assessment Report for the on-site waste oil
tank.
