Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous <br /> waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 <br /> days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a <br /> copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Two approximately 2 Liter plastic containers of Buffer Solution was observed in the lab hazardous waste storage <br /> cabinet without hazardous properties on the label. One approximately 2 liter plastic container of DNA stain was <br /> observed in the lab hazardous waste storage cabinet without hazardous properties. One approximately 2 liter plastic <br /> container of Copper solution was observed in the lab hazardous waste storage cabinet without hazardous state.All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 2/4/19. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
