' Truck Parking Area. A summary of PCB and Pb concentrations in the
truck parking area is shown in Table 4. PCH was "not detected" in
the shallow (0 to 2 feet) soil samples of the truck parking area.
The detection limit for PCB was 0.1 ppm.
' The concentrations of Pb in the shallow (0 to 2 feet) soil samples
' of the truck parking area were consistent with background
concentrations with one exception. At location P4, 200 ppm of Pb
' was detected in the surface (0 to 1 foot) soil sample. However, at
locations surrounding P4 (i.e. , P1, P2, P3, P8, P15) , the
' concentrations of Pb were below the background concentration. It is
conceivable that this elevated concentration could be the result of
an isolated spill. In addition, the Pb concentration at P4
(i.e. , 200 ppm) is well below the TTLC value for Pb (i.e. , 1000 ppm) .
' A summary of PCP/TCP, As, Cr, Cu, and Hg concentrations in the truck
parking area is shown in Table 5. Very low concentrations of
' PCP/TCP (PCP - 0.003 to 33 ppm; TCP - "not detected" to 0.92 ppm)
were detected in the surface (0 to 1 foot) soil samples of the truck
parking area. At location Pll, 33 ppm of PCP was detected in the
' surface (0.5 to 1 foot) soil sample.
' The concentrations of As, Cr, Cu, and Hg in the shallow (0 to
2 foot) soil samples of the truck parking area were consistent
with background concentrations and well below the TTLC values.
Lumber Storage Area. A summary of oil/grease concentrations in the
' lumber storage area is shown in Table 6. Oil and grease were "not
detected" in the surface (0.5 to 1 feet) soil samples at locations
' P16 , P17, and P18. The detection limit for oil/grease was 50 ppm.
t
2611F
