1 <br /> SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVE <br /> AMERICAN MOULDING AND MILLWO <br /> 2801 North West Lane, Stockton, California <br /> ' A well survey was conducted on 26 July 1999 to gather information regarding the location and use <br /> of municipal and domestic wells within 2,000 feet of the former UST No. 1 site. Well survey sources <br /> ' include: California Water Service well survey, City of Stockton Wel Survey and San Joaquin <br /> County Flood Control District and Water Conservation District(FCD& CD). In addition, a drive- <br /> by survey of businesses and residences was conducted. There were no California Department of <br /> t Water Resources wells or California Water Service Co. wells within he search distance of site. <br /> Seven private water wells were identified within the search distance (Figure 3). <br /> ' There are no known open or active water wells on the site; three abando ried water wells are located <br /> on the site. <br /> Three wells are located on the grounds of the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery (SJCC), 719 East <br /> 1 Harding Way and two wells are located on the Stockton Rural Cemet (SRC), at 2350 Cemetery <br /> Lane . The wells are essentially agricultural wells,being utilized for irrig tion rather than for potable <br /> ' purposes. Representatives of both facilities informed AGE that water from the wells was not utilized <br /> for drinking water. The wells are approximately 200 feet to 1,300 feet wet and southwest of the site. <br /> One well is located at St. Joseph's Hospital (SJH) at 1800 North California Street (approximately <br /> 1,300 feet west-southwest of the site). The hospital maintenance del artment informed an AGE <br /> ' representative that water from the well is utilized for all purposes, incl g drinking water. <br /> The wells most likely to be impacted by contamination released from the would be the grounds <br /> 1 irrigation well on the east side of the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. <br /> To obtain additional information concerning the construction details c f the wells, the completion <br /> ' intervals in particular, AGE contacted the following agencies with the esults noted below: <br /> • The San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Department(PHS- <br /> din <br /> PHS- <br /> EHD);Ms. Linda Turkatte conducted a search of well recor , including microfiche, and <br /> found well information for one well located at the SJH. <br /> ' The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) in acramento was contacted <br /> regarding wells located in and adjacent to Section 2 in Township 1 North and Range 6 East <br /> and in Section 35, Township 2 North,Range 6 East and procure J the following information: <br /> ' <br /> TIN R6E Sec. 2 (one identified well in SJCC): found the well md also copied information <br /> for wells appearing just outside the search radius to the south and located in the northern <br /> portion of the former Stockton State Hospital.No additional we]s were found for the search <br /> ' area. The SJCC well was drilled to a depth of 218 feet bsg d had perforations in the <br /> interval between 194 feet and 214 feet bsg. <br /> 1 <br />
