Based
on the costs, Kleinfelder proposes that AMM contract directly with the facility accepting the
soil. The hazardous waste volume of 175 cubic yards assumes that all 8 feet over an area of
20 x 20 feet will have an average concentration of over the Title 26 limits. It is likely that the
actual quantity will vary between 45 to 175 cubic yards.
In addition, the averaging effect of the over-excavation may result in a stockpile classification
designated as non-hazardous, which Forward, Inc., can accept.
Kleinfelder will prepare the appplication forms and coordinate removal of the soil from the
AMM facility. In addition, Kleinfelder will monitor the removal of impacted soil to assist in
the delivery of the appropriate stockpile to each accepting facility.
Task 6: Reporting
Upon completion of the remediation, a report will be prepared which will present a summary
of the field activities and the analytical data, document the disposal of the impacted soil, and
provide Kleinfelder's conzIusions and tecommendadotls (if Warranted) based on-the data.
is
t:.
FR8.92-222 Page 4 of 7 24-220182-800
Copyright 1992 Kleinfetder, Inc
