EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION <br /> All sampling tools used for sample collection will be thoroughly rinsed ith clean water after being <br /> ' washed with a solution ofAlconox.All down-hole drilling and sampling equipment will be pressure <br /> washed prior to starting the boring. <br /> ' 7.0. LABORATORY ANALYSES <br /> Ground water samples will be collected from each boring using a new, clean, disposable plastic <br /> bailer. Immediately upon retrieval, the samples will be transferred into appropriate EPA-approved <br /> containers as follows: <br /> • One-liter amber bottle- semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) and PCBs; <br /> ' • 500-milliliter plastic lacking a preservative- dissolved lead,nickel, copper, chromium and <br /> zinc, formaldehyde and arsenic; and <br /> • Three 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0.5 ml 18%hydrochloric aci I as a sample preservative- <br /> ' halogenated volatile organic compounds(HVOCs),volatile org is compounds(VOCs)and <br /> total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons (TRPH). <br /> ' Soil samples will be collected as described in Section 4.3. Samples w'll be logged on a chain-of- <br /> custody form,stored in a chilled container and transported under chain- f-custody to DHS-certified <br /> ' laboratory. <br /> ' 7.1. FORMER TRUCK PARKING AREAS <br /> Two borings(PB 1 and P132)will be advanced in the former truck parki g area for collection of soil <br /> ' and ground water sample collection.
