• • Sulfates - EPA 300; and
• Sulfides - EPA 376.2.
4.3.1 CAM Metals
Groundwater analysis was conducted for the same 17 CAM Metals identified in Section 3.1.1.
Groundwater samples collected for analysis were filtered in the field to remove particulate matter to
assure that groundwater being analyzed is representative of metal concentrations that are soluble in
groundwater. The regulatory criteria applied to groundwater analytical results is the DTSC Maximum
Contaminant Level (MCL) (26 CCR, 64435).
Only one metal was detected above the MCL in groundwater samples collected from Parcel III.
1 Arsenic was detected at concentrations of 130µg/L and 60 Ag/L in MW-1 and MW-4 respectively.
Arsenic was also detected at 60 µg/L in MW-00, a duplicate sample of MW-4. The concentration
A detected in MW-4 is not elevated significantly above the MCL of 50 µg/L for arsenic. However, the
concentration in MW-1 is more than twice the MCL. These detections of arsenic should be confirmed
by resampling. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
I
J
• 4.3.2 Chlorinated Pesticides and PCBs
br
Chlorinated Pesticides and PCBs were not detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1
Ali 1
and MW-4. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
J
4.3.3 Orzanophosphate Pesticides
No Organophosphate Pesticides were detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and
'j MW-4. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
4.3.4 Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbons
TRPH was not detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and MW-4.
4.3.5 Purzeable Halocarbons
Purgeable Halocarbons were not detected in groundwater samples collected from MW-1 and
MW-4. Comprehensive laboratory analytical data reports are included in Appendix B.
SAC29.013 December 20, 1991
17
